Trustees of public and school district (but not association) libraries must complete and file an Oath of Office at the beginning of each term. If a trustee is re-appointed or re-elected for a second term, they must file another oath of office.
The oaths must be filed with the county clerk of the county in which the trustee resides. However, oaths of town library trustees may be filed either with the town or the county.
Make sure that you record the dates on which the oaths were taken, as they are now required for the annual report.
