To help libraries comply with New York State’s new sexual harassment prevention training requirements, 4CLS has set up training sessions in each of the counties during May.
Registration for the workshops is free, but space may be limited.

The bulk of the data 4CLS supplies for the annual report has been added.
1/22/2019 – Bandwidth info added (Bandwidth-2018) for questions 9.28 – 9.30)
The E-rate Page has been updated with a new 2019 version of the letter of agency that libraries must files so that 4CLS can apply for rebates on their behalf.
The letters should be returned to 4cls by January 31.

Workshop Descriptions & Speakers
Conflict Resolution – Representatives from Accord will offer tools and strategies for resolving and de-escalating conflict with patrons and co-workers.
Collection Development: Policy & Practice – Megan Biddle, 4CLS Collection Services Manager, will discuss several aspects of collection development, including the importance of policy and the practical maintenance of collections.
Connecting the Dots: Community Library Collaborations – Tom Vitale, Director of Patterson Library. Community connections within and outside of the library’s walls are crucial in today’s sharing economy. Tom will discuss ways to identify potential partners and forge constructive relationships with your community.
Favorite Reads & Lightening Round –Each attendee will get the opportunity to share a favorite read of 2018 and speak about something good that happened at the library recently. Share some good news & good books!
Lunch will include a vegetarian option. Please indicate dietary restrictions on the registration form

The Annual Report Page has been updated with current information and links for 2017.
Most of the data libraries need to complete the 2017 Annual Report has been placed on a new page called 2017 Annual Report Data. The rest will be added soon.
Circulation, Holdings, Additions, Registered Borrower, and ILL figures have been combined into one large excel spreadsheet. You can find the download link on the report data page. If you have any trouble downloading, let us know.
